It's been awhile since my last couple of posts. I now have a job and I'm having to re-learn juggling my time. As well as, getting my physical strength to work for me. I haven't worked outside of the home for many years. I still have my website business and, if I was as active as I should be - I wouldn't be working this other necessarily. I also have another app. out there, so will see what turns up.
I wanted to do a part two of my last post as I felt like something more could be added. So the past couple days (week) I've been searching my thoughts and heart as to what to write. I'm hoping it all makes, at least some sense too those who are reading.
As in my last post of June 1, - To See Beyond The Fog. The fog is starting to move out, as we seek the Lord and acknowledge that our prayers are being answered.
It's interesting to me, how we, get so focused on ourselves and situations around us. We can't see for the fog. We take our eyes off the Lord and as a result we don't always see clearly the answers we’re seeking. Sometimes the hurdles we face - are things we placed there ourselves. “Sometimes things just happen.” We make things harder than they should be; and, don’t always do what we should do. We try to get through on our own abilities failing miserably in the process. We can be stubborn all the while trying to be in control. Even if it feels as though we're “just” doing something. We lack the patience needed to allow God do what He does best. And, in reality we delay moving forward. It is that free will God has given us - and God being the gentleman that He is we are able to slow up things. :) I don't believe it to be neccessarliy bad I think we need to do some house cleaning to mature.
We seek the Lord for many different reasons through His word and in prayer. It’s important that we listen carefully and understand what we are reading. I would suggest reading all of 2 Peter 1 - but looking at verse 20 it states - [Yet] first [you must] understand this, that no prophecy of Scripture is [a matter] of any personal or private or special interpretation (loosening, solving). AMP
Isaiah 55:8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.
What are some of the things we seek? Maybe a job, the sale of a house, physical, even inter-healing from the past? What if it’s for direction on your journey, maybe answers for all the above? I imagine the list could go on and on. But, how about when we don’t seem to receive the answers we are seeking, what then? I think sometimes we tend to complicate matters and start adding to that list. This causing us too become overwhelmed or at times feeling disparate. It’s happened to me and it can be detrimental for you and your spiritual growth.
Let's not give the enemy any foot hold to do his work!
And above all; don’t lose heart –all is not lost. The all may not be what you are thinking it to be.
The all is what God himself knows to be important for your growth. Your walk to help you on this journey called life, and what He has called (purposed) us to do.
So wake up from the sleep – the fog is being lifted.
Ephesians 5:14-16 Awake, sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

No more pity parties . . Being still and waiting on the Lord doesn’t mean to do nothing... 15,16 Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of your time, because the days are evil.
To do nothing is simply what it means, “doing nothing”. And, that can become easier to do overtime when we are focusing on the problems.
In verse 17 of the same chapter in Ephesians tells us; So then do not be foolish but understand what the will of the Lord is. To do this you have to trust the Lord in all things, don’t worry. He supplies our very needs. 1 Timothy 6:8, And if we have food and covering, with these we shall be content.
Many may say “I need the strength to go on.” He will supply this too. . . He is the one thing we can count on.
May you hear God’s voice;
In your heart.
Know His touch;
In your life.
And, feel His love
In each new day.

It's such a wonderful feeling when a fog starts to lift. It's so bitter sweet to be able to look back as the fog is lifting and even more so after it's clear to see how God did have a plan and how He carried us thru that fog when we couldn't see clearly.

There's no doubt about it, our Lord speaks through you. Even though you some times question your faithfulness, as long as you're writing inspiring, and thought provoking entries such as these, you shouldn't. Only someone who is living under God's covering, allowing the Holy Spirit to work could consistently write such original pieces as these. Listening to Myron was like hearing an old friends voice for the first time in years. I believe that we were first introduced to him when we were living in Seaside, Oregon. I imagine that we would have bought his records (wow, records, can you believe that?) at Marcela's Bible and Book Store in Astoria. She carried some rather controversial material to say the least. I remember that she seemed to be quite conservative in her views, but she nevertheless carried some publications that I doubt you could find today. Funny how hearing a song can take you back to a time and place long ago. We were so young then. Myron's voice truly evokes some truly happy memories for me; I think that some of our hapapiest times were spent there. Jake and Aaron being born in Seaside; our spiritual growth during those years was the greatest in all our years since. Not sure that's a good thing though, if you know what I mean? We made some lasting friends and some that, though we're not in touch with them now, remain in our hearts as brothers and sisters in the Lord -- we'll never forget them -- we talk about them all the time. All of that and a lot more, just from listening to one new song by an old friend, if only through his music. J

We do not have the capacity to allow or disallow the Lord to do anything He desires. Experience is a poor teacher when compared to the truth found in the Scriptures. The Lord started this work in you and He has promised to finish it. If we are not participating, He will move us. It may be painful to us for a tiem, but He will have His perfect will done in us.
Having been raise from being dead in our sins and tresspasses by God in the first place, when we were helpless and could not seek the Lord, and could not even perceive God and His Kingdom, we now attempt to manipulate God and we are disatisfied - impatient.
Jude 1:1 "Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:"
This is comforting, and it allows us to remain patient and to wait for the Lords work to be accomplished in us. We participate with Him as a child participates with his/her Dad or Mom. Dad or Mom actually does all the work, while the child is commended for helping, even when his/her help was unsatisfactory due to immaturity.
Rest in the faith given to you by God (Eph.2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:" Rom.4:5 "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." 2Cor.5:7 "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)"Gal.5:5 "For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.")
Finally, when troubles come remember, "... he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:"
