In the winter's cool
while everyone's asleep,
Silence echoes be still
calling all to listen.
Do you hear the sound of stillness?
The sun is making its way to dawn
Hummingbirds are stirring making ready
the feeders are waiting.
Roosters are fluffing and crowing
the day will soon begin.
What about our day?
Still, the winters cool is here.
The warmth of the sun
will soon appear.
Spend time in silence today
While they call it today.
Be still
in the warmth of the LORD
And thank Him.
