I took a drive the other day.
The weather was cool and crisp.
Upon returning, a blessed sight to see
Robin "redbreast" is he.
My January awe ~
to see this favorite bird.
and, not just one, several,
a sight to behold!
Once believed a messenger from God.
A symbol of New Beginnings.
I just know a favorite from childhood,
Beautiful memories indeed.
I know every bird of the hills, and all that moves in the field is. Psalm 50:11 ESV
