It's still winter, dark and cold.
I lay awake cry a little and
still ask why.
As nature sleeps awaiting spring
cold winds continue
to blow.
Waiting, yes, I set my sights
on things not seen.
While winters chill is bellowing.
As nature yearns for spring
to appear and longs for
winters end, it waits.
My faith is coming from my heart,
It's now, for this time, in the present.
My minds belief is hope
out in the future and the eternal.
Winter will end
The forest will thaw
there will be warmth from the sun
spring will appear. VLB 2/18(22
